I strongly believe in making the most of life’s daily opportunities and being in a state of consistent learning. The more you know the more you achieve. Investment Rookie helps hold me accountable to my beliefs, encouraging me to grow and push to achieve more.
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi
In the process Investment Rookie also allows me to impart my knowledge and what I learn onto others. I believe that this is an important aspect of any business or venture, that it has a benefit to the wider community.
I grew up in the small town in the hinterlands of the Sunshine Coast, before moving to London at the tender age of 7. During this time I experienced many different cultures and travel experiences that many don’t achieve until later in life, which I believe has heavily shaped my mind set today. During this time I discovered my passion in life.
My passion lies in property, investing and business and has done from a young age. I discovered it during a business class that I took in London. However, never saw how I could turn it into a career. 7 years later and I am in the final year of a Bachelor of Property Economics degree. Although in my spare time I invest heavily into studying other investment opportunities such as securities and believe this is where my strengths exist.
My Goal with investment Rookie is to provide a platform where people are able to easily find, learn and expand on their current investment knowledge to allow them the freedom to live the life they wish to live.

I’m a firm believer of this quote and of Joshua Field’s values in general. I’m not blogging just to teach, but also to learn collectively.
Contributing to society by helping people find financial freedom, which is a lot more attainable than most think, is what gives me purpose and satisfaction.
I grew up with a big family in Dunedin, New Zealand. I’ve had consistent part time or full time work since I was nine years old and believe there is a better way than clawing through a corporate ladder.
Constantly questioning which was the best direction to make the most money possible was an old worry of mine as I thought it would bring success and make my Dad proud. Turns out, everyone’s version of success is relative.
Now I want to be finically free and help others reach that goal, by using different methods than the last generation. E-Commerce and being entrepreneurial with a minimalist lifestyle will help us reach that goal and will give a flexible and enjoyable lifestyle while we are executing.
